Saturday Brad was going to go to Columbus to the Temple with a friend named Steve Masters for the first time all day. I didnt want to sit home all day with the kids and it was raining a ton.....so I called Ann to see if we wanted to chance the rain and go to LAke Erie by  her house. My friend Lisa KAy was going to cosco by the lake so she thought she might stop by.  Lizzie really wanted to swim to the Buoy but it was so far out.....Lisa went with her!  The water was freezing....it freezes all winter and stays cold.....the best thing about Lake Erie is it looks like the ocean!  All 3 girls swam a ton!  Evan kept saying....BIG SANDBOX! OVER AND OVER! He was in heaven playing with sand!  AS you can see it was not a sunny day but it NEVER rained! But there were times it was cold and kids needed sweaters.....thanks to Ann because I forgot to bring sweaters!  We ended the day with making Ann...

School is flying by and we seem to be in a great  grove....Emmie wakes up and takes a shower and eats breakfast at 7am and we then take her sister to school at 8am then we come home and hit it hard until noon then we are done for the day. She has to do 5 hours a day so we get four in and then in the evening one hour of homework. She had her first online test with her teacher and here are the results she was way above average on both math and reading. Last year she really liked math but now we are doing multiplication and division and has switched over to really liking reading she loves reading and writing in her journal. Her reading score she read 100 words per minute. Almost off the chart for math

We got to meet Emmies online teacher last week she is super nice!

You know it takes a while to get into a routine.....it wasn't bad......last year the first day was BAD....today was just trying to get into the grove......... Here is our schedule..... Math ......do 1 lesson a day Vocab .....she does 2 lessons a day online only (for 10 a week) Literature ......do reading eggs (online program), read for 20 minutes on her kindle (she loves her kindle fire hd that K12 sent her), do a lesson online (we did 4 today) This is what are planner looks like I  am not sure I love doing it this way...I did last year but not too sure this year...... Spelling - Introduce spelling words on Monday practice through out the week with fun games test on Friday (the words were really easy today) Handwriting ...... She writes in her journal for 20 minutes....todays topic was what did you do this summer......writes 10 minutes on making her handwriting better....she already has great handwriting....then does a lesson out of her book! LUNCH!!...

I really hate back to school......weather gets bad...no sleeping in...errr......we got a letter from Emmies teacher and she wanted the kids to write back to her and this is what we wrote.....   Hi my name is Emmie.   I am 7 years old, my favorite color is purple and my favorite subjects are math and reading.   I love to shop at Justice but like you my mom loves garage sales and thrift shopping. This is my 2 nd year with K12.   I live in North Canton.   My family moved here from California 4 years ago.   I have two sisters…Lizzie who is 10 years old, and Maddie who is 4 years old. I also have a brother who is 2 years old named Evan.   My mom stays home with all of us and my dad works for the corporate office of Applebees.   My dad like your husband became sick in April 2014 and we found out he had a brain tumor.   He had to have brain surgery and is recovering.   I love to help my mom, sing, dance, and I like doing hand stands.…....
